I have returned to the UK after a week in Las Vegas. Since being home (over 24 hrs) my phone has not been able to connect back to sky network. I have no signal at all and can not access my voicemail, make calls or send messages unless I am connected to my home wifi. I've tried all the usual things like turning the hand set off and on, making sure aeroplane mode is off, taking out the sim and reinserting it. I've even request the APN settings from sky but as I have no signal, they are not coming through to my phone! I can't ring sky to speak to someone either as I have no signal. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Also in your phone's settings somewhere have a look to see if it is now set to home/uk and isn't still set as being abroad.

Hi thanks for the advice,
After attempting all your suggestions I ended up on the phone to the sky customer service team... after 45 minutes and multiple attempts on their end, I have been sent a new SIM card as they couldn't get to the root of the problem.

Thanks for this I have just had the exact same problem so it seems an issue with the sim?

Possibly but check the SIM application setting first and ensure it's set to 'home'.

Hello, yes I tried everything and none of it worked. After contacting Sky customer services they said that my SIM card must have failed and they ended up sending my out a replacement sim.

I have tried all the items mentioned in these posts. I have had a new sim card and have had two different phone experts look at my phone as well as finally going back to the shop where I bought my Samsung phone in October last year. all of them have confrimed that there is nothing wrong with my phone, apart from the Sky apps.
The phone guy I bought the phone from believs that the phone is running on system upgrade 13, whilst the Sky apps are still running on upgrade 12 and that is wht they are not compatible.
