No calls or texts in India

I'm in India and  been without a working phone for a week now and tried everything I think.  In settings, Sim Manager shows  SIM 1 as "JIO 4G Sky Unkown number".  Sim Card status Mobile network state showing "Disconnected" and Network "JIO 4g Sky",Service State "in service", Roaming.  Tried a different phone same problem.  Regularly here without any problem until now.  Any ideas anyone

Have you checked you haven't reached your spend cap(s) @bellcrank  as India isn't covered by the £2 roaming charge ?

I unwittingly maxed out my spend cap whille I was in transit in Bahrain, but I have already increased it, a few days back

I have seen others on here who maxed their spend cap then increased it @bellcrank  only to find the issue still exists. They then made a £10 manual payment towards their bill and that started their phone working again. May be worth a try ?
