New sim.

I am having a new sim contact coming in the post.

The old one has ended it's 12 months, due to deals, i had to get this new sim. Which is fine by me.

I have asked the bot questions but i am still uncertain on what is happening and i thought i would come here before ringing sky.

My two questions being ;

Will the piggybank data be available to add to the new sim that is coming, or will i loose it all.

Will I then have to cancel that old sim myself so I don't pay for both or will activating that sim and keeping that sim as the number be the only sim that I pay for.

I hope those questions were clear enough, i had a lot of infomation thrown at me. Thank you for your help.

If this new sim is on the same account that you other sim in on the you will continue to have access to your piggybank data.

You will have to call Sky to cancel them and you can do this by calling them on 150. The new sim will have a new number.

@sharline

You can't transfer a number between two different Sky sims, so if you want to move the number to the new sim then there is a work around:

You could either use the sim you have or if you want to transfer the number you have to the new sim then you would need to use a Pac code to transfer your current sim number to a PAYG network and then use another pac code you get from them to transfer it back to your new Sky sim.
