New phone other sim

Im buying a new phone through sky but i domt need a sim as my mum pays for mine on her account but when im trying to buy the phone it wont let me buy without a sim plan

Don't activate it when you receive it - it will drop off.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
