New phone and sim plan

Hi. 

 

I've just ordered a new phone. I also ordered a sim plan to come with it. But I've since realised I'd prefer to keep my current sim as I'm waiting for some appointments and the hospital has my current number. If I don't activate the sim when it arrives, will I still be charged for the sim plan i chose?

If you don't activate the sim then after 30 days or so it will be cancelled by Sky so you will not be charged for it.

@Jkd1  As long as the new sim is not activated you won't be charged for it and it will eventually drop off the account

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
