New mobile and SIM

I have my new mobile and SIM from SKY. I do not have a number to transfer. I need a new number but as no number on the new SIM I am unable to text 75075 STAC. How do I get the new number?

There is a number on the sim so when it is activated you can start using it. The number should then should on the mobile section of your account.
