I currently have a phone with sky on my mums account which tne contract has ended and i would like to get my own phone on my own account. Is there anything i need to do with my mums account before getting my new phone?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf the phone has been paid off then you do not need to do anything with regards to this. The sim can be cancelled by calling Sky meaning if you order a phone and sim then they will both be in your name.
You will be credit checked when lacing the order so should you not pass this then the order could be cancelled.

Thank you. What about if i want to keep my phone number? Do i still need to ring and cancel the sim?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs it isn't possible to transfer the number between two Sky sims the only way around this would be to transfer the number to a PAYG network then transfer it back to the Sky sim on your account.
