If the number you have is with a different network then this is what you need to do:
Buy the Sky sim (and phone from Sky online or call them to do this)
Activate it when it arrives but do not put it in your phone.
Get pac code from your current supplier
Give Pac code to Sky
When your current sim stops working insert your Sky sim in the phone.
