New contract phone

I have a sim only plan,(over 12 months) but want to get a new phone on contract.How can I cancel the sim plan and keep my number for new contract phone?

Hi @Gincar  you can simply put the old sim in the new phone. Otherwise if you order a new plan then that will come with a new number. You would then need to port your old number to a different network on PAYG then port back to the new sim. You could try calling sky on 150 and ask if they could apply the new plan to your old sim but they may refuse.

You can't if within the initial 12 months.  Simply move the SIM over to the new phone.

There's more data for less money with a new phone so didn't really want to use original sim plan

Those offers tend to be for new customers/additional SIMs.  But @63johnw has detailed the workarounds...
