@Robert3152

You can't use a pac code to move a number between two sims on the same network if this is what you are trying to do.

Yes you can.

Do you not have the sim from your older phone that you can use ?

You haven't answered my question about the pac code as it isn't clear what you are trying to do ?

The question remains.  Are you trying to move a Sky number from SIM to SIM?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

If your old SIM is with Sky then you cannot port the number directly.  (As already noted above)

As I said above, you can not do this as you can only move a number to a different network with a pac code.

Either put the SIM with the desired number in your phone.  (It stays on the account it's with)

Or, you will have to port it to another network first and then back to Sky.

Porting mobile numbers is nothing to do with your WiFi.

@Robert3152

Do you still have this other older sim, if so just use that instead of this new one.

Re: New Sim only activation

I know its nothing to do with wifi, just thought it might be easier to EE to do the temporary porting and then back to sky. Think I maye have to do this where i can get phone reception
