New 16 Pro max on eSim will not diall out

Just set up new phone and it was slow to pick up and dial out however that resumed the following day. Now on day three and its doing the same so cant call SKY helpline

Took delivery three days ago and set up eSim. First day no calls in and out. Second day ok. Third day cant make or recieve calls on numbers not in my contact list. Can anyone point me to the solution please.

sorted. i wasn't aware that if using an esim you can take out the physical sim.
