National alert

I didn't receive the national alert today at 3pm, would that be an issue with the sky network?

No, more likely you had the option to receive emergency notifications like this turned off via your phone's settings.

Didn’t get UK emergency warning

Hi, my phone was switched on but as yet I haven't received the national emergency UK warning. Can you help?

Thanks for the reply.  The settings are set to receive the alert so it definitely wasn't a settings issue

As we are customers here and the alert has already gone out at 3pm then there is nothing that can be done now.

@Wiltshiregaschick  It's also not a Sky mobile issue as Sky have zero involvement in this.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Notifications for emergency alerts were turned on in preparation for this event. So, not a phone issue.

No, @caesarome my settings have been set to receive emergency alerts and have been for quite a while as I work on ITU.

The Beeb are reporting some mobile customers didn't get the alert and some others (like me) got it a minute early.

I have 3x Sky mobile devices/Sim cards active in our household and not one of them went off.

All of which are not turned off. 

With 3 sky device.. we are yet to hear the warning in person

Not receiving national alert

As  Sky mobile customer I did not receive the national alert.  All settings set to ON.

The whole point of a 'test'.  Mine went off at 14:59 and I remarked at the time it was early...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
