My son is going to Australia, Bali and Thailand, over a period of 6 months, he has a mobile phone with you, how would this work

It is going to cost him a fair bit as for Australia it would cost £2 for every 24 hours he sends a text, makes a call or uses mobile data. For the other countries you can check here:

He would be better of picking a sim in those countries and using that instead of the Sky one.
