My sim has disconnected from the network

My phone was working fine and has suddenly disconnected from the network, it does not show a phone number and sim card status shows the following. 

Network  - emergency calls only 

Mobile  network state  - Disconnected 

Service state  - Out of service

IMS registration status  - Not registered 

When I try to make a call I get the message  - Not registered on network 

Callers who phone me get a message saying that the number you have called is not recognised 

My account has been in place for a long time and all payments are upto date

If not then you will have to contact Sky as it might be the sim is faulty, so you can do this perhaps via social media as there are links at the bottom to their sites.
