Moving number on BT phone to Sky phone
Hi there
I currently have a mobile phone with BT which is on a simple monthly sim that I moved to after my original contract came to an end. About 12 months ago I took out a similar low level mobile plan with Sky (we've been Sky TV customers for 20+ years) for a mobile for my Mother in Law to use as she was widowed and, at 85, wanted her to have the security of a phone she could see to use with a big screen.
Unfortunately she's become quite frail and we've now moved in to look after her and so the Sky mobile (which is a iphone 15 Plus) is sat doing nothing and whilst I'm only paying £35 a month for it, I'm also paying just over £20 for my existing BT contact with an old iphone 11.
What I want to double check is whether I'm okay to get a PAC code from BT, and end that sim contract, to swap my existing number over the the Sky phone even though the latter has been active with its own number for just over 12 months?
Cheers
