we have a family sky mobile account which includes a SIM data plan on an iPhone 11 which my daughter used.
My daughter wished to have her own account so she purchased a new iPhone14 and sim data package via Sky.
She received the new phone and put the old SIM card into it as she wishes To keep her number.
When I called Sky to stop the data plan they said she could not transfer her existing number to the new Data package.
The caller did say we could do it but it would involve first buying a pay as you go from a different network!!! Till we got a pac number.
I feel if she had gone to another supplier it would have been much simpler
there must be an easier way ??

Unless they will apply the offer to the existing SIM then the only option is to port it out of the network and back in again.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt isn't possible to move a sim from one account to another one which is why you would need to do what I posted earlier and use a Pac to move it to a PAYG network and then get another Pac to transfer it to her Sky sim.
