Hi, I'm thinking of getting a new phone through sky mobile, however, I want to use my current sim. When checking out it doesn't let me get rid of the sim, if I got a phone with sky would I have to use the sim provided?

Yes.  If you can't check out without selecting a dataplan then do not activate it when it arrives...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

If you do not activate the Sky sim then it will be cancelled so you will not be charged for it.
