Mobile transfer from O2 - iphone will not save existing number on it

Hi - just transferred to Sky Mobile from O2 and PAC code all sorted and existing number moved over.

However my iphone will not let me change the saved number to the existing number as required for calls and messages etc, so that the unused Sky number is not displayed.

 

I know it says it can take 'several' attempts before the existing number saves, but I've tried around 25 times and still wont save !

 

Any ideas please ???

Try refreshing the network settings so go Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then go to Settings - Phone - My Number and change it if it is wrong, then reboot the phone. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.
