Mobile not registered to network

My phone is a Samsung Flip and from this morning I cannot make or receive calls the message comes on screen saying 

Not registered to network. I can text and receive text from none sky users but my brother has his phone through and I can't call or text him.

@63johnw I've checked no maintenence issue in our area with Sky and no network issues.

Hi yes it was and at first we thought it was the weather conditions but someone else in the house has sky mobile and they can use there phone to call or text other networks but not to the other sky mobile in the house . So one sky mobile can't call out to anyone but can text the other can ring or text any other network but not the sky one.

All you can do is to contact Sky to get another sim card sent out incase this one has developed a fault.
