Hi why hasn't my direct debit gone out of my account today please ?

If your normal payment date is the 15th that's the earliest date it will be taken. Don't be tempted to make a manual payment.

What does your online Sky account show regarding this payment @Paige+Manley , if it shows it has being paid then it is because it is in the process of being taken.
