I have been with Sky Mobile for nearly 2 years and I'm fed up of my device saying that I have 3G/4G/5G and it either doesnt work or is extremely slow. Nothing has ever changed and I've been through all the steps to try and resolve the issue and nothing works. I will be moving to a new mobile provider if this can't change

Sky uses O2 and unfortunately it can be a very slow and congested network. It constatly comes last behind EE, Three and Vodafone in terms of speed in national tests. If you're moving network avoid GiffGaff and Tesco as they are also O2 based networks.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSame here. I've recently moved to Smarty which uses the 3 Network & 5G speeds can reach 300mbps here. With Sky I was lucky to get any decent speed at all - in some places it showed 3G.
