Mobile data, calls and texts not working

My mobile data, calls and texts have not been working for a few days.

Spent 90mins on Sky chat - told to go into aeroplane mode and take out SIM card clean it and wait 2 mins and restart - that didnt work and phone still reports emergency calls only.  Signal strength is good showing 4bars.

Plenty of data, calls and texts still left.

Told to select connections/mobile networks/network operators/scan networks/Sky

Phone tries to register on Sky, but reports unable to connect.

 

Seems to be a network or admin problem with Sky/O2 or a faulty sim.

 

Anyone else having this problem as Sky still haven't solved it?

If not then it could be that your sim has developed a fault so it might be worth asking them to send you a replacement one.

I'm having the same issues been like this since Thursday. Still not working today.

I'm having the same issue. No network, can't make call, text or use data. Been like this since Sunday afternoon. 

Might have to switch provider as they haven't proved reliable unfortunately. Left without data while trying to navigate my way back to my hotel yesterday while I was in Glasgow.

Back on about 5 mins ago after a day of no service.

 

Would be good to know what happened. Can't be going abroad with an unreliable network.
