Mobile Data on new SIM

I've just activated my SIM and today I am being told I am out of mobile data. I have a 100mb contract and it says my allowance will refresh in 28 days. The phone only activated at 3pm yesterday and there is no way I have used all my data. Does anyone know how to sort this?

100mb is really not much data so if you do mean this then you will use up this allowance pretty quickly as has happened. You can log back into your account to change it to a higher data package if you want.

Hi @wilberforce001  looks like you may have mistaken 100mb for 100Gig, as mentioned 100mb will be used up in seconds on a modern smartphone.

The 100MB SIM is only really to be used by extremely low data users or those with large amounts of PiggyBank data.

 

If it's your day-to-day SIM then you'll need to change to a plan that's more suited to your usage.  (This will increase the cost of course)

Many others have done the same, and Sky doesn't highlight the issue: the only really visible clue is the relative pricing.
