Mobile Broken

Hi 

Can I use my sky SIM in a phone that I have borrowered as I have broken mine?

You can as long as the borrowed phone is unlocked so that the Sky sim will work in it.

How will I know if the phone is locked?

Its my son's who lives miles away, and he is saying that it is asking for a code?

It could be locked as it might be asking for an unlock code of which he would have to get from the network provider or was the phone from Sky ?

Hi. I have just spoken to him via Snapchat, he said the phone is locked to O2.  There is not much I can do my end is there?

It will be up to him to either unlock it via O2 or to purchase an unlocked phone from somewhere so there is nothing you can do.
