Miss Hayley Dickerson
As I'm now single, my ex partner have now cancelled the direct debit payments for sky broadband. As he is no longer living here. I would like change into my name, my payments. But I have no sky number as it's all was under his name. How can I change everything into my name and carry on paying the bills for the broadband?

It can't be swoped to you. Your ex needs to cancel and any loaned equipment returned. Only then can you take out a subscription in your own name.

In short, you can't.
He needs to cancel the account (not just the DD). As the account is in his name then they will pursue him (potentially to court) for the unpaid amount.
Once he has cancelled the account (and sent any equipment back) then you can start a whole new account of your own.
I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
