Maximum phones reached although paid off - and want to upgrade

Hi,

I had a similar issue last year. I have 7 devices on my Sky Mobile account, but 4 have been paid off in full.

however, I am unable to add new devices/contracts and need the old devices removed from my account. I do not want to return or trade the old devices in.

thanks

@TheFace85

The old devices only drop off your account if returned to Sky. Once devices are paid off it takes a few months for them to clear so that they don't interfere with adding an additional device. If this is stopping you adding a new device you will need to call Sky and the agent can place the order for you.

Some of my devices were paid off 4 years ago! When I did speak to someone they said they didn't know how to remove it. Crazy because it just means I'll get a nrw phone somewhere else.

If you want a Sky mobile and this is stopping you adding a new device you can call Sky and the agent can place the order for you.

Still doesn't answer the question why do the old devices just stay on the account?  And why can't they be removed?

Hi @Steved25  because sky have decided that's what they want their system to do.

If someone has helped give them a thumbs up.

If their answer solved your issue mark it as the correct answer.

Seems stupid to me because I don't have time to sit chatting on the phone. I order online. If their system won't let me, I'll go elsewhere.
