MAP-T vs Sky Mobile

Hi, I'm using one of my SIM cards in a ZTE 5G router and I'm experiencing very slow internet speeds when using Zscaler (which is mandatory for my work laptop).

I've read several posts about disabling MAP-T on Sky Broadband, but I haven't found anything about Sky Mobile. Is it possible to opt out of MAP-T on Sky Mobile as well, or is this issue specific to Sky Broadband and not something that affects Sky Mobile?

Apologies if this is a basic question, I'm very new to all of this. Thanks!

MAP-t is specific to Sky broadband.

Sky mobile SIMs are not really a best choice for using within a mobile broadband router.

It's data offering would be more designed for using in a smartphone mobile device.

You would be best looking for a data only SIM package that states its intention is used for 4g/5g routers.

The SIM a provider may also have some APN type settings that you will need to change on your router to deliver it better for your 4g/5g router.

As far as I'm aware, MAP-T is only on Sky Broadband where there's a Max Hub.  I'd think Sky Mobile (or O2, as it's their cellular infrastructure) uses some form of CGNAT which may or may not be entirely compatible with Zscaler.

Have you switched off the age-related restrictions on the mobile data?
