MAC delivery issues

So I ordered a Macbook M2 2024 from you and received it I believe in January 2024. I am not to up on laptops but thought if this a 2024 version it must be the new one. I received the MacBook n checked the box as it stated M2 with all the storage n memory size options that matched the salesman's offer I was happy. I only used it a few times from that time and a few months ago I received a call from Ironically Sky Protect about an insurance offer. During the call I asked if I could place mine and my son's MacBook on there, to which they replied yes..."you have an M2 2024 version?" I had opened up the laptop in case they would need a serial number etc for a match?. I then spotted in the general setting it said 2022 version. I then contacted sky mobile department and was told that I didn't call during the cooling off period so it was tough I would have to keep the M2 version but I said "that the difference in value between the 2022 version and the 2024 version is vastly less" the manager kept with this statement of should have checked the cooling off period. I was advised by a member of the investigative team to call Apple. I called them and they said "that there is no such thing as a M2 2024, only a M2 2022 to which they don't sell anymore". I contacted sky again to inform them that I had been a victim of a miss sold product or been delivered the wrong product?, either way you were at fault and I wasn't going to pay anymore to my bill until this was rectified. well weeks went on and I was told it had been passed to "special investigation department" I asked to speak with them but I was told not even sky could contact them. DISGUSTING SERVICE!!! So called Platinum VIP n this is how you treat your customers so I told them that was it unless this issue got sorted out I would leave, I had with this address been 14 yrs with sky but at 55yrs old I had numerous addresses in my life had sky at all since I was 20...DISGUSTING...I had never known customer service like this, to be told even by the mobile manager any the beginning "the only way to get an M4 2024 MacBook would mean paying off my contract and taking out a new one" So as of then I received messages of miscalls at times I was at work to numbers I didn't recognise, then last Monday I received the call just before beginning work to sort out the case but I informed him that I was just going to start work n couldn't take the call but informed him that anytime before 3pm that week would be fine. I a few days later noticed there was a missed call again when I was working and because they had used all their call back limit that they would have to close the case. DISGUSTING!!!!!! What sort of service is this that sky prevent you from chasing up on an investigation n prevent communications with them unless balances are paid up to finalise the issue, no matter what contact number I call related to sky an audio system kicks in to only allow me to pay the balance. Now that you've withheld payment then any call to Sky will now only prompt you to pay what you owe.
