@PhilipOsborne The best Sky can do is block the phone and SIM once you report it lost, they won't do anything else.
If you still owe money for the phone you will still be liable for those payments.

If you're not already aware the Sky Community is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to help other customers and you aren't contacting Sky Customer Services.
This link explains how to report a lost or stolen mobile to Sky https://www.sky.com/help/articles/lost-or-stolen-sky-mobile
Even if the phone is lost the account holder remains liable for the remaining repayments on it.
It may also be a good idea to register any loss/theft on the Immobilise website https://www.immobilise.com
