I have recently got an upgrade and handed my old phone back to sky. I used my old phone to set up my new phone however even after erasing everything on my old phone to send it away my location was still transmitting from my old phone.
i then deleted my iPhone from my location on my new phone and then my new phone restarted and erased everything.
I now only have photos from 2019 missing 5 years worth of photos however it seem to have kept my recent notes, passwords etc as well as WhatsApp messages. But no current messages. I use iCloud for backup and it didn't restore much, I have also used OneDrive in the past and on my old phone I had so much more saved there but that all seems to be gone as well. Can anyone help? Shall I try a full restart again?
