Loss of Service and Missing Contacts after eSIM Activation and iOS Update
I recently switched from a physical SIM to an eSIM on my iPhone. Initially, everything was working fine. However, after updating my device to iOS version 26.0.1, I have completely lost service on the eSIM. I am unable to make or receive phone calls, and I’ve noticed that some of my contacts have disappeared as well.
This disruption has caused significant inconvenience, and I would appreciate urgent assistance in resolving the matter. I would like to know:
- Why the eSIM stopped functioning after the update.
- What steps Sky is taking to address compatibility issues with iOS 26.0.1.
- How I can restore full service and recover my missing contacts.
Please treat this as a priority and advise on the next steps to restore my mobile service.

Re: Loss of Service and Missing Contacts after eSIM Activation and iOS Update
Try googling 'ios 26.0.1 lost contacts' and 'ios 26.0.1 esim not working'.
There are a number of suggestions, e.g.
"To fix an iOS 26.0.1 eSIM not working, first try toggling Airplane Mode, then check for and install a carrier settings update by going to Settings > General > About. If the issue continues, try a forced restart, and if that doesn't work, consider resetting network settings, but be aware this will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords."

Thanks - I tried customer services as well, but even they could't resolve it, hence i order a replacement physical Sim.
