Keeping the same number from different provider

I've recently swapped my old number from vodaphone to sky. I got a confirmation email saying I'm up and running. I have a temporary number in the mean time, since I got the email saying I was up and running I deleted my vodaphone sim from my phone as my sky one said it was working and had now got my number on it. After deleting it chnaged back to my temporary number and I cannot get my number back, it still says my number in my sky app but not in my phone. Is there any possible way to fix this?

Hi @Grace_  try this. 

Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.
