Issues abroad

I am currently abroad, I have mobile data and have bought extra data but am still unable to use Wi-Fi my sky app is the only thing I can connect to I have full reception. I can been through the online virtual assistant and have done what that have told me and now my bill has gone up by £45 + the £6 extra data I have bought but I am still unable to get online. I really need to access my emails to get my details for transfer to the airport.

Sounds like a 'rest of world' location where data is charged per meg - usually around £2.  A £45 spendcap can be used in minutes.  Buying extra data won't help.

 

If so, you need to increase your spendcap.  (But note big bills)

 

Best to find some WiFi.  Also,  mails are often cached on your device (unless you're using web client only).

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
