Issue activating sim with old number

Having read other issues it seems to be a popular one where I select use old number and then a page comes up with this page is restricted............because you are not the account holder.
Can sky mobile reach out to have this fixed? I have the PAC number.

Hi @Nicole12345678  can you confirm you are using the PAC to port a number to sky from a different network ? You can't use a PAC within Sky to move a number between sims.

What are you trying to do, are you trying to move a number from a different network to a Sky sim ?

I'm trying to activate a sim card AND transfer a number. I either get you are not the account owner (I am) or we're still activate your sim (they are nor)

That error might prevent you from giving Sky the pac code so now it is working you should be able to phone Sky on 150 to give them the pac.

Its not working unfortunately. The sim hasn't been activated yet. I've tried just activating it without transferring the number.but I still get one of the 2 error messages.

Was it today that you activated it as usually it should only take a few minutes so if it is still doing this tomorrow you will need to find a way to speak to Sky about this as they might want to send you another one to try.

Looks like I'll have to give them a bell tomorrow.  It's 3 additional sims, all with the same 2 errors 😑  thanks for trying
