Is there an additional charge for adding an eSIM?

I have just added an eSIM to my iPhone, am I now going to have two charges, effectively for two SIMs (physical & eSIM)? Thanks

If you've added a second cellular service with a different telephone number attached (rather than converting a single physical SIM to its virtual form) then yes: that's kind of the point, really.

If you converted an eSIM then you will have only the one charge as the physical sim shouldnt work anymore. If you have added a second number via this eSIM then you will be charged for this second one,
