I'm looking to get and iPhone 15 for my son for Christmas, and would like to know if the phones are unlocked so he can put his EE sim card in??

Great thank you also if I was to get just the phone itself when would the first monthly payment be taken nd what would be the charges on it like do you pay in advance just for the handset itself - (cos I will get the sim with 500mb as this is £0 which means effectively I'm just paying for the handset if I don't activate the sim that comes with the phone as my son will be putting his EE card in

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Kurtis87 your first payment is normally 7-10 days after you receive the phone. Any sim you have ordered if you don't activate it then you won't be charged and it will drop off your account after 31 days.
edit. You pay for the first part month then the second month in advance.

Billing for the device starts from the day you receive it so your first bill could cover 5 or 6 weeks dependng on when your billing date is.
