Iphone 14 pro in box not new 17 pro

Hi I ordered an iPhone 17 pro for my daughters birthday which was delivered on Sunday 7th on Tuesday 9th as it was her birthday i handed the parcel to her as she opened it it was an iphone 14 pro in an iPhone 15 pro box , got in touch with sky and told them as I ordered an iPhone 17 pro and I got an old iPhone 14 pro in iPhone 15 pro box was told they need to investigate it?... phoned them up again and told them to escalate it which they said they have and I was sent an email with a reference number.

How can this happen I order a brand new phone and get an old one!!

Hi @Zahir786  as this isn't sky CS here just fellow customers there is little we can do to help. If you have made Sky aware and they are investigating then you will need to wait for the result of that investigation.
