Insert sim then it just says no sim

I work abroad when I arrive home every time I insert my sky sim . It is saying no sim so unable to use my phone . Sky no help waiting on replacement sim but no phone meantime

How long are you abroad for?  I believe there's a timeout period (for security) if the Sky SIM doesn't connect to the network.

Hi @Trish35  also look at this. 

If this is an iPhone try this, settings, mobile service, sim applications and change the setting there.

If it’s android try this
Sky Menu App or SIM toolkit,Roaming, Make sure this is set to Home.

Will try this thanks , always same problem with sky when return and try to get set up

Well have never been told this and they knew when purchased phone would be abroad a lot !
