Has anyone recently experienced a large increase in data usage? I normally use less than 3gb per month. I'm not using anything differently but my data is looking like 5-6 gb this month since Sky systems were updated recently

Not sure what you mean by this so what does the device's own data monitor show is using this data ?

Hi @Phil+Harr there have been a few similar reports here recently. What does your phones data monitor say is using the data ? The last time this happened to me was following updates to facebook and X which changed settings to auto play videos.

I think I've discovered it was an avast antivirus app. Now deleted but it's been fine for years

i had 40GB for years never used 20GB of it then they offered me a discount as i never have a signal or data outside wifi - now im going over the 40GB and it is saying im using roaming sky watch data I do not watch things of=n my phone unless in bed on wifi, i dont stream I have no idea why. Customer service here is the worse ive ever had. I was on live chat for an hour then the guys said im going for my break ill be back in 15 mins (mid conversation / complaint) left m,e on the phone for 15 mins i couldnt believe it, i said i hope this call is recorded cos im sure your not taught to leave a customer on a phone whilst you have a 15 min break. Wish i never went with SKY It is so much money a month for zero customer service, zero signal and zero internet. But the funny thing is my data is being used when i cant use my phone its absolutely waco im going to go financial ombudsman bow i need out of this comtract. I cant even load maps half the time u have no idea how annoyinh this is. I pay for a service i should recieve it.
