Incorrect number showing when someone calls me

When a mobile or landline calls me it comes up with incorrect number.  It is definitely the right number as the landline is my own!  The mobile is a long time friend.  What can I do to sort this, as it happens every day.  Sometimes it seems to fix itself when I restart my phone but not always.  I've been with Sky about 18 months and transferred my old number across (Sky had given me a new number) but it's been alright up until now.

Any ideas?  TIA.

One things to try is to reset the network settings:

Swipe down from the top right of your screen to open the notification panel

Tap the Settings gear icon.

Scroll down and tap General management

Tap Reset.

Select Reset mobile network settingsTap Reset settings.

Enter your PIN, password, or pattern if prompted, then tap Reset to confirm.

thanks @caesarome, have done that and I can call myself from the landline and it goes through.  I will get my contact to call me and see if it's worked for him.
