Impossible to activate replacement SIM

I have a basic no internet phone. I asked for a new SIM as was fed up on constant texts demanding thousands of pounds, for the person who had the number before.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to activate it.
Spent hours yesterday talking to a phone robot, only to be told the "activation code rejected".....I did NOT put in the wrong code.
Then spent hours trying to talk to a human, but just got India, who didn't understand me [Removed]
So I then set up an online account to activate SIM that way, STILL impossible.
It says "link Sky ID".....It IS linked....but just sends you round & round in a loop.
I am at the point where this SIM is going in the toilet & I'm off to TESCO MOBILE.
Does anyone have ANY idea how to activate it? Either online.....or speaking to a human in the UK[Removed]?

To try and get you some help I have escalated your post to the Sky Community Messaging Team.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a coloured speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
