I have a contract in a friend sky account

I've had a contract phone in a friends account for 6 years I have paid her to end the contract and because we have fallen out she is now refusing to give me the pac code so I can keep my number I've had for six years

@Meg40  Given the phone is legally owned by your friend with it being on her account she doesn't legally have to give it you as it's her phone and number not yours regardless of the fact you have given her the money to cancel

Re: I have a contract in a friend sky account

I have proof I have been paying for 6 years so the phone is legally mine as I've paid for it.
I would change my number but I lost my mum last year and don't want to lose her messages on what's app

@Meg40  Wrong as far has sky are concerned the owner of the phone is the account holder the phone is registered on not the bill payer (that can be anyone)

The solution here is to stop giving her the money for it and place an order for a phone in your own namee, you will ahve to have a different number but at least it will all be in your own name.

Re: I have a contract in a friend sky account

That's what I am trying to do but I would like to keep my number because of my two businesses and my mums messages.

@Meg40  You can't keep the number for the reasons given other than your friend giving you the pac code

@Meg40

Sky mobile is a domestic service. I think the contract your friend agreed to states business use is not covered.
