Hi I'm new to sky how do I find out if my iPhone has cover for lost or stolen

Sky themselves don't provide insurance. You need to find insurance yourself (maybe your house insurance will cover this?)

 

There is also Sky Protect which is run by Domestic and General Insurance https://www.sky.com/help/articles/insure-your-mobile-with-sky-mobile-protect
