Help with esim

Hi I've recently bought an I pad from sky with an eSIM but I'm unable to make or receive phone calls or texts

That's correct - it's not a phone.

 

iPads do not have the cellular hardware to make phonecalls or texts (SMS).

 

However, any data-based communication, e.g. WhatsApp, FaceTime or iMessage, will work.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
