Help with eSIM activation

After discussion with a mobile phone shop guy - my internet keeps randomly stopping - he checked everything on my phone - all in good working order - he advised I may need a new SIM. I spoke with a Sky representative yesterday - very nice she was too - who sent me all the relevant details to activate an eSIM instead of a physical one. I have followed all the steps but the message reads 'eSIM not quite ready - try again later'. I've been trying since last night!

Any suggestions?

yes my phone is compatible

Hi @Michelle__1  if this link doesn't help then you will need to find a way to call sky for help. They will probably suggest getting a physical sim then activate that, you could then use it or try converting it to an eSIM.
