Having trouble with my sky digital

I recently moved homes and switched to a different WiFi provider but still subscribed with sky streaming and digital. The problem is have encountered since I moved is my phone number not being reached and I can't place a call either. I am not making or receiving calls or texts for almost two weeks now. What could be the problem?

Your post isn't very clear. Have you moved from Sky Broadband and Sky Talk landline to another provider? If so I fail to see the relevance to the Sky Talk landline board where you've posted.

 

You mention texts so is it a (Sky) mobile you're having issues with? Moving broadband providers wouldn't affect this.

@Sharon191 assuming you're posting about your landline service - is your phone plugged into your broadband Hub? It won't work from a wall socket.

Im relatively new to sky so I might not be on the right platform seeking for answers.  But the problem is with my mobile device, ever since I switched WiFi provider (not with sky wifi) but still subscribed to sky digital,  my mobile phone number (which im still with sky) is not working.  I can't receive calls or sms neither can I make calls. Hope it makes sense.

No, im posting about my mobile device. Im thinking it is something to do with my mobile number (sim card). I can't receive calls or texts (SMS) neither can I place calls.

Do you mean your mobile phone? It doesn't rely on WiFi to make and receive calls or texts.

When I try to make a call, a message "Not registered on this network " appears and people are telling me they sent texts and have been calling me but I did not receive any text or call. This issue started on the day I moved homes.

@Sharon191  Moving Home & broadband provider would not be the source of this issue.

 

Are you certain that when you did the homemove and transfer your Broadband service that you didn't inadvertantly cancel your mobile sim?

Ohh My God, do you think that's what could have happened? Cause im not sure yo be honest. What would you suggest i should do, if that's the case. Is it a reversible thing. I dont want to change my phone number, please help. 🤞
