Have I been scammed?

After having received two phone calls from a "Sky expert?" trying to sell me a new esim, which I told him I didn't want, he started shouting at me and told me I had to accept it! next day I got an email saying that my new phone was on it's way? I refused this at my front door and asked DPD to return it, I received another email the same day from this sky expert shouting at me again about not accepting the phone and to do so and return it to the address shown in package.

I have been charged for this phone and so far £64 has been taken out my bank account for it plus my phone which is £45 a month.I have phoned Sky and been re-assured that this phone has been removed from my account and money refunded, this is not the case, I have sent numerous emails to complain to Sky, this has been going on since 4th June, what else can I do to resolve this and be refunded?

I'm afraid you have been scammed as that call was not from Sky as you can read about here:

If you receive an unexpected parcel from Sky get in touch with our customer services team immediately. We can give advice on what to do. Don’t send the parcel anywhere except our returns address.

We’ll give you pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to us.

 

You should also Change your Sky account password:

https://id.sky.com/change/password

 

There is little as customers we can do here for you other than to advise you to keep contacting Sky about this.
