Hard Credit Search

was considering getting a new phone from you, but after research, it wasn't very good value. You've done a hard credit search on me, which has affected my credit score. I didn't get a phone or airtime contract from you. Can you please correct this ASAP

You are only talking to other customers on here and not Sky suppprt.

 

If you placed an order for a device then this will be the reason for the credit check. If yoh are saying you did not place an order then you will have to take this up with Sky by calling them.

@Kevinisin  You're not contacting Sky customer service via the community, no one here knows who you are you your accout  details.

 

For a hard search to be done you must have placed an order or went through the order process

 

As sucgh Sky won;t be able to remove their search.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

If your actions resulted in Sky (legitimately) performing a hard search then I don't believe you can remove it.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

No, I did not hit the 'buy' button. Just looked at how much it would cost. After seeing that the network piggybacks onto 02 network (which I'm trying to move away from) I decided against it. I have not placed an order, so I don't see why they should have done a search. My score was 999, and now it's gone down for no reason.

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.
