Got a new sim want to keep old sky number

I already had sky mobile but have got a new sim deal , so have been sent a new sim with a new number . I've activated it but want to keep my original sky number . The only options I have when requesting PAC is to transfer from a different provider ? Could anyone please help me with this

Yup, PAC code can only be used to move networks.

If you want to keep your number then you'll have to port it outside the network and then back to the new SIM.  (Unless you can convince Sky to apply your offer to the old SIM)
