How do I add on being able to have data abroad

You just need to make sure roaming is turned on in your phone settings and you have set a spend cap sufficient for the £2 a day charge. As soon as you send a text, make a call or use some data it kicks in. You haven't said where you are going so be aware it's only in certain countries that it works like that. If you're in a 'rest of the world' country then the charges are much higher.

Included through being in the EEA rather than the EU, I believe. Or possibly the EFTA.
